Director’s Message

I am delighted to introduce the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), a “Deemed to be University” with over seven decades of academic
excellence in demography, biostatistics, public health, survey research and data analytics. IIPS combines rigorous academic training with large-scale
survey data, multidisciplinary research and practical exposure to equip students with the analytical and problem-solving skills required by industry,
government, academia and the development sector. Our students are equipped with strong capabilities in data analytics, statistical modelling,survey research,
and evidence-based decision making, with hands-on experience using industry-relevant tools and real-world datasets. This training enables them to translate
complex data into actionable insights, support strategic decision making, solve organizational problems, and contribute effectively to data driven projects.
With exposure to diverse sectors and professional environments, our graduates are prepared to meet the evolving analytical and business needs of corporate
organizations. Our alumni have built successful and diverse careers across a wide range of sectors, both in India and internationally.
They have made their mark in leading global and national organizations, including UNICEF, UNFPA, WHO, universities, research institutions, non-governmental
organizations, government agencies, and the corporate sector. Many alumni contribute to leading companies, consulting firms, financial institutions, healthcare
and technology organizations, and other private sector enterprises, applying their expertise in population studies, data analytics, research, public policy,
management, and development. I look forward to building meaningful partnerships with organizations and creating greater opportunities for our students to
contribute to a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable society.

Message from Coordinators

International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) is a world class institution for education and research on population sciences and biostatistics. Our students are trained to excel in informed data analytics and to be research leaders in future. The institute has always been a prominent destination for recruiters from research organizations, development sector, and industry. Placement cell is totally dedicated towards providing support to recruiters in their recruitment process.
