Abstract Content (not more than 300 word, should include: Introduction, Objective, Methodology, critical findings & Conclusion):
This research seeks to conduct a thorough investigation into the intricate landscape of population trends within India. The primary focus is on a nuanced comparative analysis, discerning disparities between states distinguished by robust demographic indicators and those portraying comparatively weaker trends. The primary objective of this research paper is to delve into the complex process of demographic transition in India, with a specific focus on the various states exhibiting both robust and weaker demographic trends. The exploration of demographic transition phases will offer insights into the evolving population dynamics within the country. The overarching goal is to understand and analyze the factors contributing to the observed variations in demographic trends among different states. The study aims to undertake a detailed exploration of the demographic transition phases, identifying key milestones and shifts in birth and death rates over the period from 1991 to 2022. Methodologically, the study will adopt a comprehensive approach primarily based on secondary data sources to achieve the outlined objectives. Data collection will involve gathering relevant information from reputable sources, including national census reports, demographic surveys, and governmental publications. As India undergoes dynamic shifts in its population dynamics, understanding the variations among states becomes imperative for informed policymaking and sustainable development. By identifying states with robust demographic indicators, the research aims to highlight potential success stories and effective strategies in managing population dynamics. Simultaneously, states exhibiting weaker demographic trends will be scrutinized to uncover challenges and discern potential areas for targeted interventions and policy enhancements. This paper aspires to contribute valuable insights to academia, policymakers, and stakeholders.
